Fallkniven S1W Wolfram Test Series ( 243 are made)

Yes, I managed to get some!

The S1 Forest knife has been one of Fallkniven's best selling Survival and Outdoor knives, since its inception it had a strong and loyal following and although there have been variations (S1 pro, S1X etc) there remains a great demand for the standard S1.

Iits always been Laminated VG10, but for this small test run (just 243 knives made) Fallkniven are testing the Lam VG10 with the addition of Tungsten (Wolfram), LamVG10W!.

They hope the additon of wolfram will give the knife more strength than the even the LamVG10! and if the test is successful and they get enough positive feedback, they may start full production.

Anyway, I have amanged to persuade Fallkniven to let me have some and so you now have the oppertunity to try the S1W for yourself.

They are identical in design to the Std S1, just the steel is different. they are marked 'test Series'
