The story behind this sensational knife began when the Swedish Air Force in 1987 asked us to develop a new survival knife, a knife that would better match the technical environment that the JAS 39 Griffin system stood for. In August 1995 the first delivery was made and today almost 30 years later, it’s still our best selling knife. The anniversary edition comes with a DC4 sharpener as well.
